Burkina Faso to receive a mobile microbiology lab from Russia by December

Synergy in Sahel: Russia to Deliver Cutting-Edge Mobile Lab to Burkina Faso

Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilyov presented a certificate for a Russian-made mobile anti-epidemic laboratory to Burkina Faso President Ibrahim Traore during a meeting in Ouagadougou, Russia’s Energy Ministry said.

According to the Russian official, the lab is set to arrive in Burkina Faso by December, 2025

The talks and agreements also covered launching a Russia–Burkina Faso Intergovernmental Commission and a potential Sahel–Russia Business Council, proposed by President Traore.

Notably, Russia-Burkina Faso trade turnover grew 4.8 times in 2024, driven by Russian exports of food, raw materials, and chemicals.

Russia and Burkina Faso have been of late sharing a lot from economic divide to diplomatic relations.
This comes after Traoré visit in Russia to meet his counterpart, Putin.
