Cynthia Muchugia, 25, who works in US Army went missing on Sunday, July 28 2025, causing deep concern among her family and friends. Law enforcement in Massachusetts issued a missing person alert.

Cynthia is believed to have driven off in her car, which was later found abandoned on Middlesex Street in Stow, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.

According to reports, her loved ones became suspicious when she stopped responding to their calls and messages, which was out of character for her.

After several unsuccessful attempts to contact her by phone, her family immediately informed the police of her disappearance and unknown whereabouts.

On August 5, the Stow Police Department issued a public statement appealing for help to locate the missing soldier.

The department confirmed that Cynthia had been officially reported missing on July 28, emphasising that her family and friends were “deeply concerned for her well-being””.

“The Stow Police Department urgently requests the public’s assistance in locating 25-year-old Cynthia Muchugia, who was reported missing on Monday, 28 July 2025,” the statement read in part.

Law enforcement officials are actively investigating the case and are asking anyone who may have seen Cynthia or who has information about her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

As of now, no foul play has been confirmed, but the unusual circumstances of her disappearance and the location of her car have heightened the urgency of the investigation.

It remains unclear on her whereabouts and police are yet to offer any more updates so far.
