The bold chair layed his emphasis on perfection of electoral processes and system as key areas of ensuring transparency and credibility. However, Mr Ethekon also opined that Kenya’s legal framework provides clear avenues for candidates to challenge results in case of any noted dissatisfaction.

However, Mr Ethekon also opined that Kenya’s legal framework provides clear avenues for candidates to challenge results in case of any noted dissatisfaction.

“From the moment of shortlisting, the interviews, vetting, everything was out there.Kenyans were asked to dig the dirt and bring it out. We went through that successfully, we were even taken to court and they pronounced themselves”  Added Ethekon.

He urged Kenyans to emancipate themselves from mentality instilled in them by some politicians that there must be malpractices in eny Kenyan election.

“I don’t know what more we can do as human beings to shed off what a section of Kenyans is trying to pin on us. Some of you might help us. We signed up to do a job for Kenyans, our elections are therefore highly regulated by the law”.
