Malian Army Eliminates Dozens of Terrorists and Destroys Bases in Series of Security Operations

According to a communique from the General Staff of the Malian Armed Forces, the perations took place in the following regions:

🔹 In the Anderamboukan sector of the Menaka region, military aviation neutralized approximately 40 militants;
🔹 In the Niono area of the Ségou region, army forces eliminated around 30 terrorists and dismantled a significant logistics and training base;
🔹 Another such base was destroyed in the Tin-Aisha sector of the Timbuktu region;
🔹 In the Kidal region, security forces destroyed two vehicles transporting militants.

The West African country, Mali, has been grappling with an armed conflict involving extremist and separatist groups since 2012, leading to ongoing security and socio-economic challenges, particularly in areas bordering Burkina Faso and Niger.

The country has promised not to relent anytime soon but to fight the terrorists that have been killing innocent civilians and hurting the economy
