Rwandan Gospel Singer Gogo Gloriose Dies in Kampala at 36

Rwandan gospel singer and social media personality Gogo Gloriose, born Musabyimana Gloriose, has died at the age of 36. She passed away in Kampala, Uganda, on the night of September 3, 2025.

Her manager, Bruno K, confirmed the news in a statement shared on social media. He revealed that they had been together shortly before her death and described her passing as sudden and deeply painful.

Gogo was best known for her song Everyday I Need Blood of Jesus, which gained popularity across Rwanda and among gospel music fans abroad. She was also active on social media, where she connected with her audience through regular posts and live sessions.

According to reports, she had been battling an illness, with some close to her suggesting a heart condition. Final details regarding the cause of death have not been officially released.

Tributes continue to pour in from fans, fellow musicians, and church leaders across Rwanda and Uganda, remembering her for her strong voice, devotion to faith, and positive influence.

Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by her family in the coming days.
